A lab-made restoration that fits inside a tooth's biting surface. Used for medium-sized cavities too large for fillings.

Inlays preserve more tooth structure than crowns and are stronger than large composite fillings. Made of ceramic (E.max, zirconia) or gold. Costs AED 1,800–3,500. Lasts 15–25 years.
