Paradise Dental (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to Paradise Dental and any website, booking form, or digital service we operate.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us — name, phone number, email, preferred treatment, appointment preferences, and any message you send through our contact forms, email, WhatsApp, or phone.
- Clinical information — dental history, medical history, treatment records, X-rays, photographs, and scans collected during your appointments. This is handled as confidential health information and protected under UAE Health Data Law (Federal Law No. 2 of 2019).
- Automatically collected — basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and approximate location, used only to operate and secure our website.
2. How we use your information
- To contact you about your enquiry or appointment.
- To provide dental care and maintain accurate clinical records.
- To process payments and manage insurance claims where applicable.
- To send appointment reminders and follow-up instructions.
- To improve our website, services, and patient experience.
- To comply with UAE health regulations and DHA requirements.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when necessary:
- With laboratories, specialists, or imaging centres involved in your care.
- With your insurance provider, with your authorisation.
- With government authorities when required by UAE law.
- With service providers that operate our website, email, and booking tools — bound by confidentiality.
4. How we protect your information
We use technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data — encrypted transmission, access controls, and confidentiality training for all staff. Clinical records are stored in accordance with UAE health record retention requirements.
5. Your rights
Under UAE data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion, subject to legal retention requirements for health records.
- Withdraw consent for non-essential processing (e.g. marketing).
- Object to processing in certain circumstances.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@paradisedentaldxb.com. We respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to run the website (e.g. to remember whether you have dismissed the cookie banner, or to keep admin sessions secure). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. If this changes, we will update this policy and request your consent.
7. Children's privacy
Our services treat patients of all ages. Information for children under 18 is collected only with parental or guardian consent, and is handled with additional care.
8. Retention
Contact-form submissions are retained for up to 24 months for follow-up and record-keeping. Clinical records are retained as required by UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention regulations (generally 10 years after the last appointment).
9. International patients
If you contact us from outside the UAE, your information is processed in the UAE. By submitting a form or engaging our services, you consent to this transfer.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
