A bridge anchored to only one adjacent tooth. Less common than traditional bridges due to biomechanical stress.

Used in specific situations where only one tooth is available as an anchor. Places significant lateral force on the single abutment tooth, so typically reserved for low-biting-force areas like front teeth. Modern dentistry usually prefers implant replacement instead.
