A procedure that removes infected or dead pulp from inside a tooth, disinfects the canals, and seals them.

Saves teeth that would otherwise need extraction. Takes 1–2 visits, 60–90 minutes each. Success rate 85–95%. Followed by a crown (essential for back teeth) to prevent fracture.
