Dental Cement

Definition

The adhesive used to bond crowns, bridges, veneers, and other restorations to teeth. Multiple types for different applications.

In detail

Resin cement provides the strongest bond and is preferred for all-ceramic restorations like veneers and E.max crowns. Glass ionomer cement releases fluoride and is used for some temporary or specific restorations. Zinc phosphate is an older, less common choice.
