Attachment (Invisalign)

Definition

A small tooth-coloured composite bump bonded to a tooth that helps aligners grip for specific movements.

In detail

Attachments are rice-grain sized and essential for rotations, extrusions, and complex 3D tooth movements. Placed at the start of treatment in a 15-minute visit and removed at the end. Visible up close but barely noticeable at conversational distance.
