A clear removable tray that gradually straightens teeth. Most common brand is Invisalign.
In detail
Each aligner moves teeth approximately 0.25 mm and is worn 22 hours per day for 7–14 days before switching to the next. A full course uses 20–60 aligners over 6–24 months. Removable for eating and brushing.
