A procedure that releases a tight frenum (the tissue connecting lip or tongue to the gum/mouth). Often done by laser.

Indicated for tongue tie (affects speech, feeding in babies), lip tie (causes gaps between front teeth), or when tight frenum interferes with orthodontic treatment. Laser frenectomy is bleed-free and heals rapidly.
