A visible gap between two teeth, most commonly between the upper front teeth. Can be closed cosmetically or orthodontically.

Diastema can be closed with composite bonding (1 visit, AED 900–1,500), porcelain veneers (2 weeks, AED 2,500–6,000), or Invisalign (4–10 months, AED 12,000–22,000). Some patients keep the gap as a signature feature.
